Short Course Topics and Presenters

CLEO®/Europe-EQEC 2023 will be offering an expanded short course programme covering a wide range of exciting topics in photonics and laser technology.
Short courses participants are generally targeted individuals who wish to learn about a topic outside their main area of expertise. They are intended for engineers and scientists.
Ten courses are scheduled. The 2023 Short course topics include: High-Power Fiber Lasers, Optical Parametric Oscillators, Laser Beam Analysis, Propagation and Spatial Shaping Techniques, Practical Quantum Optics, Mid-infrared semiconductor lasers, Terahertz Measurements and their Applications, Nonlinear Crystal optics, Frequency Combs and Applications, Silicon Photonics, Finite Element Modelling Methods for Photonics.

Advance registration is required. The short course material won’t be printed, a link to access it will be provided.
Short Course Fees Register and pay until  26 May 2023 After 26 May 2023
Student (*) extra fee per course 100,-€ 160,-€
Regular extra fee per course 200,-€ 260,-€

(*) Applications for the student rate must include a photocopy of the official student identity card, which must also be presented on-site.

All Short Courses will be 2 x 1.5 hour long (with ½ an hour break coffee break in-between). The courses will take place from Monday 26 June to Friday 30 June 2023 as per schedule marked for each relevant course. Attention! A few courses are running in parallel!
