Venue to CLEO®/Europe-EQEC 2023
The CLEO®/Europe-EQEC 2023 conference will take place in the ICM Centre of the Munich Trade Fair Centre.
(Please visit http://www.messe-muenchen.de/ )
The ICM center offers first-class services such as business-centre,
post office, bank, travel service, restaurants, snack bars, groceries …
Munich offers very good transportation means (hire cars, trams, metro and buses).
The entrance tickets to LASER World of PHOTONICS and congress tickets for World of Photonics Congress no longer entitle holders to free use of local public transport. Participants of above mentioned events who use local public transport to get to the events must buy a travel ticket, at their own expense.
MVV tickets for any means of public transport can be obtained from ticket machines (S- and U-Bahn stops), at ticket offices (kiosks etc.) or in regional buses. You will get single tickets and day tickets also from ticket machines in trams and buses. Day tickets valid for 3 days (from the moment of validation until 6 am on the fourth day) can be bought. Partner day tickets are also available for as many trips as you like for up to five adults. Please have some small coins ready!
For your trip to the trade fair centre we recommend single or day tickets, e. g. an “Innenraum” day ticket (inner district – municipal area) for one person, a “Gesamtnetz” day ticket (entire network – incl. the airport) for one person, an airport-city day ticket or a “1 zone” ticket for one person for a single trip from the municipal area to the trade fair centre. All tickets must be validated in a blue ticket-cancelling machine before you start your trip, except for tickets from bus and tram ticket machines. These are already validated.
